This palazzo is an excellent choice for groups of friends and families traveling together.
The Signoria Apartment building dates back to Renaissance times and has been in the possession of Florentine nobility for many centuries. Its current owners, the Lori Family have meticulously remodeled the building preserving its original architecture.
The apartments are decorated in classical Florentine style.
Florence apartment Mela comprises a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a living room with sofa-bed and television, a fully equipped kitchen corner with dishwasher, hot plates, microwave oven and a dining table.

Apartment Mela December-07 USA Jessica H. The apartment was average sized, but right in the heart of the city. It was on the first floor, and easily accessible, but it does not front the street, so it was quiet. The kitchen was small, but functioning, and the decor was charming. The host was very welcoming, though she does not speak English (there is now English Speaking Staff). Overall, though it was a tight squeeze for four adults, the location and decor made it well worth the price.

The only thing I would like to have known in advance is that it is not uncommon for the owners to want to take your passport for security checks. We could not speak much Italian and I was a little unsettled when the lady that greeted us took all 4 of our passports. If this information was available on your website somewhere, it would perhaps put others at ease in the future when this happens. Other than that, Florence was amazing and we'll being coming back as soon as possible.
